2015 Weston Air Festival Red Arrows

The 2015 Weston Air Festival Armed Forces Day  June 20th/21st

The weekend will include thrilling air displays, military exhibitions, arena performances, fun fair rides and a variety of activities and refreshments.

The world-renowned Red Arrows will perform on both days at this year’s Weston Air Festival on Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 June.

The Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team will perform a thrilling precision flying display featuring their trademark formations, close-passes and dynamic loops and rolls. To mark the team’s important role as a global ambassador for the United Kingdom and Royal Air Force, the Red Arrows will be sporting a new Union flag inspired tailfin design at this year’s event

Avro Vulcan will fly past on Sunday 21st June 2015

The Avro Vulcan XH558 returned to flight in 2007 following an award-winning restoration programme. As the last airworthy Vulcan, she returned triumphantly to the air display circuit in 2008 and has been a significant crowd puller at every show where she has appeared.

As well as a full weekend programme of air displays on Weston seafront, the air show will incorporate the town’s Armed Forces celebrations with military exhibitions and displays. Following the flag raising ceremony there will be marching displays, military bands and performances from The Marionettes and the Bristol Military Wives Choir. Along with fun fair rides, trade stands and activities such as mini tanks, a zip-wire and giant inflatables.
